Postdoctoral researchers from all faculties of Ulm University are eligible to apply prior to submitting their habilitation thesis.
Funding for Postdoctoral researchers from all faculties of Ulm University are eligible to apply prior to submitting their habilitation thesis. As part of a Science pitch, the two best project ideas will be awarded by the ProTrainU Executive Board and will receive the following funding amounts:
1st place: EUR 50,000
2nd place: EUR 30,000
Funding period: 24 months

During the session, you will receive a brief overview of the funding program as well as practical tips on how to apply. You will also have the opportunity to ask your questions directly.

Both sessions cover the same content and differ only in the language of the event.

And how can one present this scientific work on a poster concisely and effectively in just five minutes?
Eleven early-career researchers discovered the answers to these questions (and more) during the one-and-a-half-day workshop ‘Effective Poster Design and Presentation’, which took place in early June 2026 as an in-person event at the Ulm University.
