What students on the Master’s in Business Informatics – Digital Business & Analytics have to say

Daria Isakovska, second-semester
studentAfter completing my bachelor’s degree in Management, it was clear to me that I wanted to specialise in Computer Science so that I would be fully equipped for the digital economy. This degree programme allows me to do exactly that: those coming from a business background can specifically build on their IT skills here, computer scientists learn more about business and management, and those who have already studied business informatics can further deepen their knowledge at Master’s level.
I particularly appreciate the flexibility of the timetable and the practical content, which really shows you how theory is applied in practice. And for international students, the University of Ulm, with its manageable size and friendly atmosphere, is ideal – you quickly find your feet and feel immediately welcome.

Annika Rathai, 2nd-semester
student:“The Master’s in Business Informatics appeals to me because of the wide range of individual course options available and the dedicated lecturers – both in terms of designing engaging courses and in the organisation and further development of the programme. At the same time, Ulm is an ideal student city: compact, friendly and with a wide range of leisure activities.”

Elias Berisha, 2nd-semester
studentWhat I like about the programme is that we students are given a wide range of subjects from which we can choose freely. For example, the foundation module brings every student’s knowledge up to roughly the same level. I’m really looking forward to shaping my individual profile through the specialisation module. I particularly enjoy the lectures from the Institute for Business Analytics (IBA), as these have a more practical slant than other lectures. What’s more, the lecturers here are very dedicated and well-versed in their field.
