Anahita Sattarian, M.Sc. Psychology
Anahita Sattarian is a doctoral researcher at Ulm University, a licensed clinical psychotherapist trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and a trainer for psychologists and psychotherapists in self-reflective, racism-sensitive, and discrimination-sensitive practice. She completed her M.Sc. in Psychology at Bielefeld University. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she worked as a study coordinator and research assistant at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Bielefeld University and as a clinical psychotherapist at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Her doctoral research examines discrimination sensitivity and privilege awareness in outpatient psychotherapy in Germany.
Using an intersectional perspective and quantitative and qualitative methods, her work aims to contribute to fairer, reflective, and patient-focused mental health care in Germany.
