Simone Korger

Simone Korger has been working as a research associate in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology since July 2025. She completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology at Eberhard Karls University in TĂŒbingen, specializing in clinical psychology, media psychology, and health psychology. During her studies, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the Leibniz Institute for Knowledge Media in TĂŒbingen in the “Knowledge Construction” lab on research projects in the fields of medical education, shared decision making, and decision aids for patients. After graduating, she began her training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist in cognitive behavioral therapy at the Ausbildungszentrum fĂŒr Verhaltenstherapie at Ulm University Hospital, which she completed in 2025. During her training, she evaluated prevention concepts for preventing child sexual abuse in institutions of the Protestant Church of WĂŒrttemberg as part of the “Auf!” project. In addition to working in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, she is a project coordinator and research associate in the “IPS-Pilot” project, conducting a feasibility evaluation of an integrated psychosocial care intervention in intensive care settings, as well as a child and adolescent psychotherapist at the psychotherapeutic outpatient clinic of the University of Ulm.
