Vita

Christina Bonfert (maiden name: Christina Knill) received the B.Sc and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ulm University in 2013 and 2015, respectively. 

In 2015, she joined the Insitute of Microwave Engineering as an research assistant with research focus on radar signal processing for digital radars with OFDM modulation. She received her doctorate in 2022 with the thesis about "Novel MIMO OFDM waveform designs and high-performance signal processing methods for digital radars"

Since 2022, she is a postdoctoral research fellow at the institute with research focus on radar signal processing and compressed sensing for UAV-based SAR.
